Albano Daminato

It's been another busy week. But then, is there ever any other kind for me lately? Thankfully I have a long weekend planned in Singapore to visit some good friends. Yay! Speaking of Singapore, I thought I'd share some photos of work by Interior Architect Albano Daminato who is based there. He's done some incredible residential work, as well as the Aman resort in Bhutan, Amankora. More great pics to be found on his website...

Wow very modern - but with a touch of warmth and comfort. I think copper is my new favorite accessory. Those pendant lights are amazing... they might be brass, but i like them jsut the same

have a great time in Singapore

Albano is really talented...and a really nice guy! I'm glad you are posting works of local designers...Asia has some real talent that we shouldn't ignore.

Thanks for your blog. Am recommending it to the Interior Design students at Chula University in Bangkok when I guest lecture there at the end of the month.

Thanks Brent! If you know of any other Asian or Asia based designers that would be worth featuring let me know! I am trying to have more "local" content...except that I'm not a fan of a lot of it unfortunately.
