Happy Weekend!

I'm away for the weekend with some friends from Oz. They're here for a week so I might be light on posting during that time. Happy Friday, and have a great weekend everyone!

  1. Oh how I would love to be sitting in this picture. Your site is such a great resource for designers. What a great way to list all of the designers the way you've done. I'll be using it again.
    Thanks, Connie

  4. Flygirl - I want it all too (the dog is kinda cute as well) Unfortunately I don't have details of the make and model of the car - it looks like a vintage mercedes? Feel free to step in here folks if you have any leads on this...

  5. It might be a karman ghia, made by VW in the 60's.

  6. Pigtown, you might be right? Or is there a chance its a vintage MG?

  7. I'm with Meg of Pigtown on the car. I'm thinking Karmann Ghia too.

Hey, just wanted to say you had a great point the other day on another blog about Americans being a little out of touch with the rest of the world when it comes to what we consider "enough money/wealth". The whining I read was a little embarrassing when you think about how many people in the world go without.

  8. Hi Katiedid - thanks so much for your support. I was worried maybe my comments came across as only being directed at Americans, which is not what I intended. I'm putting myself in the same category. I just think we all need to get a bit of a grip on reality when we complain about not having as many luxuries because of a recesssion (which is affecting the entire world, not just the US).

And, you guys might be right, it could well be a Karman Ghia. Either way, I want one!
